And so it was that by the thirteenth day of Terminal Transit, an unwilling group of wreckers found themselves trapped high up on the cathedral’s Minot Tower.

Built as a replacement for the original tower that was destroyed by fire in 1362, the tower has long loomed large over this part of the city and as such now stands as an affront to those cosmic forces who seek the destruction of this world for simple sport.

High winds had previously blown down all of the long ladders that people had been forced to ascend at gunpoint. Three hundred and forty two people lost their lives and sixty-two men, women and children were now stranded with no means of getting down.
