‘Well,’ said Iseult once Mac has finished, ‘all of this is fine and dandy but up until the last light lit no longer shines we still have some living to do.’

She looked around.

‘With those half-witted thugs out of the way we now need to try and put some manners on this place.’

Iseult stood up.

‘We have got to keep on going,’ she said with a strength that almost reached deep into the broken Mac.

‘The least we can do for the lost Inteachán is keep going in her memory.’

Iseult pulled Gilly up onto his feet.

‘Take a look around you,’ she said to the men.

‘This courtyard is our new campus. You may destroy a book that I have read but you cannot destroy the fact that I have read it.’
